Dawn and Winter-

What a priviledge to meet you this morning. I met you after class and we talked a little about triathlons and the Iron Man. Winter you asked the question, “Who do you race for?” on this site. I race for my mom. She passed away in 2006 from cancer also. You are both an inspiration.

Winter, I am so glad I viewed your website because it is very inspirational and I will share it with others. Your mom told me about you. She is also a pretty amazing woman. It is obvious your dad was just as special as the rest of the family. Thanks for what you have done for others who could face this cancer some day. Welcome to Salem.

Hey Winter,
I live in Oregon and I have seen you at two races. I am a senior at the Portland Waldorf High School and I am writing my senior thesis on why people do triathlons. I was wondering if I could email you some questions.

You are awesome I totally admire you for racing at such a young age for such an important cause.

I think what you are doing is awesome and you are a very precious little girl who has alot of courage and fight and I am sure your dad is looking down on you right now and he is so very proud of you.So sorry to hear that you lost him.Stay healthy yourself,there should be more unselfish people in the world like you.
